The Most Innovative Display Case for Ice Cream and Popsicles!

This product will be certified for the United States and Canada under UL (electrical safety) and NSF (sanitation) standards.

The Growing Market for Premium Ice Cream and Popsicles

Display cases were created to increase the sales of premium, freshly made ice cream, commonly known as gelato, which means ice cream in Italian. Italy is the origin of the concept of presenting the product to consumers with the elegance it deserves.
Virtually every city in Italy is filled with specialty ice cream shops, and the display case plays a key role at the front of the business, making a strong visual impact with the vibrant colors of the ice cream and its attractive design and finish.
It is estimated that sales have tripled compared to the previous sales model, which relied on closed freezers that prevented product visibility. The concept of the specialty ice cream shop has since been exported globally and continues to grow.
Refined popsicles have only recently started being displayed in showcases, and they have already achieved tremendous success in several countries.

The Visual Impact of the Display Case

Impulse purchase studies show that people literally “eat with their eyes.” Many food-related industries already use the technique of showcasing edible products prominently, especially sweets, which is why many treats are placed near checkout counters.
Because they are frozen products, ice cream and popsicles are harder to display. Low temperatures freeze the moisture in the air and form frost on the walls of conventional freezers, much like the ice that forms in home refrigerators.
The development of heated thermal glass was essential to solving this problem. It enabled the creation of negative-temperature showcases that dramatically increase the visibility of ice cream and popsicles inside. The heated glass prevents internal fogging and condensation on the outer surface.
In addition to this major advantage, the design of the display case has evolved from a simple box to elegant forms that better reflect the joy and pleasure associated with ice cream and popsicles.

Bold Design

With sharp and straight lines, reflecting the latest global trend, the Vista display case features slanted surfaces on both the front and top glass panels. Additionally, the side and front panels are made entirely of glass, with no joints or breaks, providing unmatched visibility of the displayed product—an absolute market innovation.
Available in various finish styles, you can choose the color scheme and add custom images to the front glass, ensuring greater sales impact and business personalization.
Special lighting enhances the colors of the ice cream and popsicles, making them stand out even from a distance.

Built Entirely With High-Quality Materials

The Vista display case is the only one in the world built with thermally insulating materials both inside and out. It features two seamless food-grade plastic tanks on the inside, both with thick thermal insulation. All corners are rounded for easy cleaning.
The outer tank forms the structure of the unit and holds the inner tank, which contains the product containers. The cooling system and fans that create the cold air curtain are positioned between the tanks. The inner tank is fully removable and washable, and the fans are fully resistant to moisture and cold and easy to disassemble.
Conventional showcases typically use bent metal sheets with sharp edges, which are difficult to clean thoroughly and can compromise thermal insulation. This method is more economical but often fails to meet sanitation standards.
The sides of the Vista display case are made of a high-strength composite material to support the dual-tank system and the set of heated glass panels, ensuring a flawless finish. All glass components are sealed with rubber gaskets to prevent cold loss.

Cold Air Curtain for Ice Cream and Popsicles

The Vista display case is designed for both ice cream and popsicles. Since popsicles have a lower freezing point, they require greater cooling capacity and a different cold air curtain profile. For this reason, it is recommended to use one Vista case set for ice cream and another set for popsicles.
Display cases with glass fronts are divided into “ventilated” and “static” types. Ventilated cases have a cold air curtain that flows over the displayed products, while static ones do not have airflow, like common freezers found in bakeries and supermarkets.
In static units, the product must remain at least 20 cm below the glass, since the lack of airflow and frequent opening causes partial melting. In this type of unit, the product is only visible from close up.
In ventilated display cases, ice cream and popsicles can be positioned higher, as long as they stay below the cold air curtain. This allows the product to be visible from a distance. The Vista case belongs to this category.

Heated Double Glass

Heated glass used in display cases can be either single or double layered.
In single-layer heated models, the product must be positioned at least 10 cm below the display line, limiting long-distance visibility.
The double-layer heated model uses two panes of glass—one heated on the outside and one unheated on the inside. A special gas is injected between them to enhance thermal insulation. The product can be displayed up to 15 cm above the cabinet, creating a stronger visual impact and better visibility from afar. The Vista display case uses this technology.

Available Sizes

The new Vista line includes models to suit every need. Choose from units that hold 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, or 28 containers of 5.7 liters each.

Angled Rows of Containers

In the Vista case, ice cream is stored in containers tilted forward at a 12-degree angle, further increasing visibility and visual impact.
This angle makes it harder to maintain consistent product temperature, requiring precise control of the cold air curtain. Few display cases in the world achieve this level of precision—Vista is one of them.

Precise Temperature Control

Premium ice cream must be served at the ideal temperature—that is the key to its success. If the temperature is slightly above or below optimal, the product loses its creamy texture, which is critical to customer satisfaction. The same applies to popsicles.
The glass temperature must also be properly controlled to prevent fogging in humid environments.
The unit features automatic defrosting via a heat pump, the most effective defrost method. It is the only one that can completely defrost quickly without affecting the products. Conventional showcases use less efficient (and cheaper) methods, which force the user to turn off the unit and remove all products for several hours to achieve full defrosting.

  • Increases sales by up to 30% while adding elegance and beauty to the environment.

  • Significantly lower investment compared to display cases with two rows of containers.

  • Occupies less space (shallow depth due to a single row of containers) and offers better space efficiency, as the ice cream and popsicle display area is maximized.

  • Lower energy cost per kilogram of displayed ice cream or popsicle, thanks to the single row of containers and the absence of metal components in the cold air circuit.

  • Highly versatile for installation and operation, since the Vista display case is equipped with casters that make layout changes and cleaning movements much easier. Conventional display cases are usually fixed to the floor and do not offer this flexibility.

  • Easy to transport: significantly reduced weight due to the use of composite materials in its construction. Traditional display cases use heavier, low-cost metal structures.

  • Easy maintenance: the monoblock construction of the tanks and side panels provides more space in the lower section of the equipment, allowing easy access to all components and better ventilation.

  • High resale value, as it is a compact, high-performance unit equipped with cutting-edge embedded technology and all control systems included.

* Positioning of the machine: Avoid positioning the equipment in poorly ventilated areas and/or areas exposed to direct sunlight. Avoid very hot places, such as near ovens, or outside areas with high humidity and/or water accumulation. The floor must be level and easy to clean. Walls, doors and windows must comply with local sanitation and ventilation regulations. The relative humidity and room temperature must not exceed 60% and 28°C / 82.4°F, respectively. Beyond these limits, the installation of an air conditioner is recommended. ** Pay attention to ventilation sources that may interfere with the internal air curtain of the showcase. *** At the end of the day, remove the tubs and turn on the night defrosting. **** It is important that the ice cream or popsicles are only placed in the correct temperature, already frozen. Never put "soft" ice cream in the display case. There are several types of ice cream syrup: water base, milk base, Italian, diet, light, etc. For each of these different types of ice cream, we have a different conservation temperature, therefore always adapt your product to a single conservation and display window temperature. Never put ice creams of very different formulations in the same display case, because the consistency of both can be damaged (soft ice cream and/or hard ice cream).
